Mister Boom Boom's Music Room Branding Redesign
What a fun project! I really enjoyed creating this logo redesign for MBBMR’s organization. The design is overall maximalist, colorful, wacky, and downright fun!
For this logo, I worked on the typographic layout to create a graphic that would be suitable for many applications, such as a wall mural and children’s t-shirt design. We even created a second logo for the t-shirt of Mister Boom Boom himself.
Music Play Patrol Rebrand
I was approached by the client to redesign the logo for their organization, but I wanted to do a rebrand for their other program, Music Play Patrol (MPP.) MPP is a nonprofit that offers music-based programs for children and young people in the Philadelphia area.
For the logo redesign, I wanted to incorporate a series of icons that represent each word (music, play, patrol). From there, I worked to combine the icons into a cohesive logo mark incorporating the existing brand colors as well. Lastly, I provided the client with a suitable font pairing to use in their branding that would portray a playful atmosphere, but retain readability.
Hand Drawn Sticker Designs
Calling all planner babies! These lil guys are hand drawn and perfect for expressing any mood. Made available as a digital download and optimized for print and cut sticker machines.
STRIPT Freebie Stickers
As part of STRIPT’s branding and marketing materials, a free sticker is included with every order! I had the pleasure of creating many sticker designs for the brand to include as freebie stickers. I also designed stickers to correspond with activations and initiatives for the brand too.
Buji Matcha Brand Board
I really enjoyed bringing this idea to life! Buji Matcha is an upcoming DC/ATL matcha brand. The design process included developing a retro yet bright color palette, selecting retro typography that reflects their brand personality, and developing logos and hand-drawn supporting graphics that incorporate Japanese imagery! The result is bright and fun, while remaining attractive and professional.
Buji Matcha Packaging
Along with brand materials, I was also tasked to create customer facing materials for Buji Matcha! I created a set of stickers reminiscent of Japanese postcard stamps, and incorporated the brand elements and colors to create to-go packaging.
UMGC ART 120 Final Project 2021
For my Art 120 Final, I created a double-sided brochure. The objective was to showcase negative and positive space, flow, and lines within an informative brochure. (Naturally, the subject of my brochure is yarn.)
The brochure is designed so that an illustration of half a skein of yarn on the front right outer panel would fold inwards to complete an illustration of half a yarn skein on the inside left panel. Lines are used to illustrate the different weights of thread ranging from lace weight to super bulky. There is a continuous swirling line spanning a few panels of the brochure to illustrate the movement and the flexibility of yarn.
Salt & Pepper Flipn' Bowl Logo Concept
This is a concept logo for an existing Filipino food truck in the Annapolis Maryland area. It features a bowl graphic combined with the sun shown on the flag of the Philipines. (p.s. The food is amazing!)
GYALCODE Tours Brand Board
GYALCODE Tours is a travel/tour agency specializing in authentic experiences in Jamaica for women. I developed GYALCODE’s brand identity including logo, font package and color palette based on their desire to market to a younger audience of women and represent their island aesthetic and vibe.
GYALCODE Website Design
I provided a complete package for GYALCODE, so along with brand development, I also created a squarespace booking website on for the business so their clients can book and pay for their trips. The website is dynamic and has many engaging visual elements, and is optimized for mobile use.
STRIPT BFCM Flyers
I created this batch of flyers to promote STRIPT’s BFCM sale.
Mudiwa Noel - Personal Website
The client requested a personal website to inform users of her services (mentorship opportunity) and to sell merchandise. I created a dynamic website that puts the client at the forefront and truly sells who she is to the reader.
Disclaimer: The site’s typography has been updated by a third party since its creation, however, the website created by me is still intact.
Sample Clean Electric Company Branding
I created a brand identity for Infinity Renewable Energy (IRE), a fictional clean energy solution provider. The objective was to create a professional brand identity including complete logo package, brand colors, company merchandise, customer facing materials, website and more.
My approach for the logo was to create something clean and professional that would appeal to new and long time homeowners aged 25 - 70 years old. The symbol mark is 3 staggered triangles in the brand colors, representing moving forward towards a cleaner tomorrow. The shape of the triangles is meant to be reminiscent of the blades of a fan/wind turbine!
The primary brand colors are turquoise, green, and orange to identify the business as a clean energy brand, using blue and green to inspire images of the Earth, and orange to invoke an energetic mood. The purple secondary color is complimentary to all three primary colors.
I also applied the logo to uniforms, and other company merchandise.
Sample Visual Manual - IRE
I also created a complete visual manual to accompany IRE’s branding, to include logo guidelines, appropriate use of the logo, and more. Here you can see a few sample pages from the visual manual to showcase some collateral materials, packaging design and mockups, and customer facing material design and mockups as well.
thelovestitch branding
Of course, as a designer and a hobbyist, I cannot trust anyone to do my branding besides me. It took me quite a while to finalize an idea for my own yarn dyeing business’s branding but it was so worth it in the end.
thelovestitch is my own personal brand, so it had to reflect my style, tastes, and personality in every sense. I decided on a monochromatic palette for my printed branding. (On my website, I use chartreuse and a burnt bright red as my accent colors.) And for the imagery, I wanted to stay minimal in the elements, but still quirky and fun. Deciding on a black heart was easy and I think the sparkles added the perfect amount of cute. I chose a script font for my logo and paired it with a very simple sans-serif font. The “x” elements were to maintain a handstitched but also edgy feel to the tags, a nod to my seamstress background. But as much as I love my logo, the cherry on top truly is my secondary logo, the bulb stitch marker with a sneaky heart closure. If I could make this thing exist in real life, I would. The icon is dare I say… iconic and I don’t think I will ever tire of how cute it is.
thelovestitch fibers - E-commerce website
This website was built for the sale of indie-dyed yarn and hand-sewn project bags for thelovestitch fibers (that’s me!)
The website is hosted on Shopify. It has a featured collection slideshow on the front page, followed by a “New Releases” catalog. The menu features include a secondary drop-down menu to filter the products. There is also a search bar in the Announcements header.
Customers are able to read about me on the “About Me” page and there is also a section to contact me. Customers can also sign up for the newsletter
